The Tenth Circuit today issued a decision in Little Sisters of the Poor v. Burwell. The decision is posted here. The majority opinion, which rejected the Little Sisters claim that Affordable Care Act's contraceptive mandate substantially burdened their exercise of religion, spans a whopping 108 pages and contains a three-page glossary. Judge Matheson, joined by Judge McKay, authored the majority opinion. Judge Baldock dissented in part in a 25-page opinion.
Not surprisingly, the decision is receiving a tremendous amount of press coverage. The Denver Post report is here, and the New York Times coverage is here.
